<p>We are partnering with a <strong>Quebec-based technology company established in 2014</strong>, specializing in the development of innovative solutions at the intersection of embedded systems, software, and healthcare.</p><p>The organization designs products deployed in real-world environments, with a clear mission: <strong>to meaningfully improve communication and human experience in hospital settings</strong>.</p><p>As part of its growth, the company is looking to hire a <strong>DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (Linux)</strong> to play a key role in stabilizing, automating, and evolving its technology environments.</p><p>You will act as a bridge between software development, systems, and operations, within a <strong>Linux-based on-premise environment</strong> with real challenges related to performance, security, and reliability.</p><strong>Why this role is strategic</strong><ul><li>Direct impact in the healthcare sector</li><li>Key role in structuring DevOps and infrastructure practices</li><li>Advanced technical environment (Linux, IoT, connected systems)</li><li>Close collaboration with an experienced R&D team</li></ul><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)</li><li>Automate build, packaging, and deployment processes (C/C++, Python)</li><li>Manage and evolve Linux environments (Debian/CentOS)</li><li>Deploy and maintain containerized environments (Docker)</li><li>Support development teams (CI/CD debugging, build runners, environments)</li><li>Contribute to the implementation of automated testing</li><li>Work on networking challenges (TCP/IP, VPN, TLS)</li><li>Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability practices</li></ul><strong>Profile</strong><ul><li>3 to 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure</li><li>Strong expertise in Linux (Debian, CentOS, or equivalent)</li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitLab strongly preferred)</li><li>Solid experience with Docker</li><li>Scripting skills (Python, Bash)</li><li>Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, TLS, DNS)</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues</li><li>Autonomous, curious, and hands-on mindset</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong><br> Experience in IoT, embedded systems, or on-premise environments. Knowledge of security concepts (TLS, certificates) and monitoring/logging tools.
