Axis Pharmacy Clinic operates as a traditional pharmacy as well as a travel and tuberculosis skin testing clinic. *<Job Overview>* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is for part time hours with a minimum of 13 hours weekly. You will support pharmacy operations in preparing medications to be dispensed. Potential days of work include *Monday to Saturday.* *<Duties>* * Entering prescriptions into pharmacy software, work with scheduling software to set appointment times, and answering phone requests for appointments and medication refills * Communicate information between pharmacist, customers/patients to coordinate preparation of medications and visits or appointments * Compare and update inventory for over-the-counter and prescription medication products * Prepare some compounded medications and compliance (blister) packaging of prescriptions *<Experience>* * *At least six months of previous healthcare related experience is required ie. pharmacy, hospital, medical office* * *At least 1 year of experience in customer service, or patient facing roles* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care Experience: * customer service: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- Location Calgary, AB
