*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or pharmacy settings, possess strong patient care skills, and demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in advancing their healthcare career within a dynamic environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently * Prepare prescription labels and package medications for patient pickup * Maintain organized records of medication inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate * Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision * Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims * Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of medications * Support medication administration processes as directed by licensed pharmacists or healthcare providers * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace *Skills* * Prior experience in pharmacy settings is highly desirable * Experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations * Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach * Ability to accurately handle medication dispensing and administration tasks * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Effective communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy This role is essential in supporting quality patient care and ensuring the efficient functioning of our pharmacy services.
