Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Business administration and management, general. Work setting: Motor vehicle repair shop. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Manage staff and assign duties. Determine merchandise and services to be sold. Implement price and credits policies. Develop and implement marketing strategies. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Determine staffing requirements. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Conduct market surveys. Maintain records of services provided and the effects of advice given. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Team player.
