Seeking someone that can refurbish and create new landscaping, rock gardens, repair and/or install irrigation. Must be able to operate small machinery, ie skid steer, mini excavator, must have valid drivers license and be able to operate pickup with dump trailer, etc *Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through various horticultural and construction activities. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, gardening, and mechanical systems to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties. The Landscape Technician will work outdoors in diverse weather conditions, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality results. *Responsibilities* * Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces * Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for grading, digging, and construction projects * Install and repair irrigation systems to promote optimal watering practices * Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, aeration, and other gardening tasks * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of landscape features and mechanical equipment * Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, patios, or pathways * Apply horticultural knowledge to diagnose plant health issues and recommend appropriate solutions * Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during all landscaping activities * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively *Experience* * Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred * Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscape equipment is a plus * Hands-on experience with excavation machinery such as excavators is desirable * Familiarity with irrigation installation and repair techniques is beneficial * Knowledge of construction practices related to outdoor projects will be advantageous * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions This position offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about landscaping, gardening, and outdoor construction to develop their skills while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
