Develop and oversee the implementation of menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents </p><p>? Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and dietary guidelines, including therapeutic diets and food safety standards</p><p>? Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address the nutritional needs of individual residents </p><p><b>Team Member Management & Training:</b></p><p>? Train, supervise and evaluate dietary team members, including cooks and dietary aides </p><p>? Provide ongoing training to team members to ensure competence in food preparation, sanitation and customer service </p><p>? Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication and mutual respect among dietary team members </p><p><b>Budget & Inventory Management:</b></p><p>? Manage the dietary department budget, including food purchasing, labour costs and supplies to ensure operations are cost-effective </p><p>? Monitor food inventory levels and implement control measures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization </p><p>? Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising the quality or nutritional value of meals provided to residents </p><p><b>Regulatory Compliance:</b></p><p>? Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, provincial and local regulations governing food service operations in the home </p><p>? Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food production, inventory management and resident dietary preferences </p><p>? Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, addressing any deficiencies and implementing corrective actions as needed </p><p><b>Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:</b></p><p>?
