The incumbent will work on a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 1 day in-office per week.</p><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><p><strong>Payroll & HRIS administration - 50 %</strong></p><ul><li>Process, validate and reconcile a biweekly payroll for 140+ employees across Canada in a national payroll environment</li><li>As the subject matter expert in payroll, ensure accurate payroll processing, deductions, and remittances in compliance with federal and provincial legislation</li><li>Maintain payroll accuracy through regular audits/controls, reconciliations</li><li>Manage payroll-related reporting, audits, leave administration, and year-end activities including T4 preparation </li><li>Prepare, submit, and reconcile required federal and provincial payroll reports and filings, including Records of Employment, year?end tax slips, and province?specific payroll taxes (e.g. workers? compensation)</li><li>Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to payroll systems, workflows, and reporting capabilities </li><li>Maintain time off (vacation and other leave) processes, including requests from staff and leaders</li><li>Maintain high standards of data integrity within HRIS and payroll systems (Dayforce)</li><li>Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in collaborati- Location Toronto, ON
